Tim Allison

What do you do at TJM and how long have you worked here?

I'm Sales Manager and have worked for the company nearly 8 years.

What's your favorite aspect of working here?

My favorite aspect of working here is the vast and near infinite variety of clients and art projects that I encounter. My clientele ranges from NASA to the shock rock band GWAR. There is honestly no telling who will contact you daily.

By far, the most interesting client that I work with is the cast and crew of AMC's The Walking Dead. I have designed multiple projects for them and they have invited me to their set and office twice since my relationship with them began in 2011. I have met nearly everyone that works on that amazing show and always look forward to the next project with them. Heck, I was just working on another screen printed T-Shirt order with them.

What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?

I love drawing, playing music, and making movies. I try my best to stay involved with artistic projects constantly in and out of the office. I have a background in storyboard, comic book, and concept art. I've been in a punk band, and have made some movies here and there.

Although I am the manager of my department, I still love to tackle complicated artwork and provide a quality of art to our clients that no other company can.

Tell us a little about your family.

My wife is an elementary school teacher, and has been for over 10 years. I am very proud of her accomplishments over the years.

What do you like most about living in central Florida?

The most enjoyable aspect of living in Central Florida is that it introduced me to everything good about life. My family, friends, and my job.

Any exciting things planned in the future?

I have many things planned … too many to explain and expand on. I am constantly trying to accomplish my goals. Whether it is my filmmaking goals, work-related goals, or my family-related goals, I am always up to something interesting and most times … not even believable.

Anything else you'd like to tell the world about?

Always work hard, people. You are only as good as the effort you put into things. If you try and fail, try again. Be a good person. Don't hurt others. Have fun every chance you can get.
