Employee Spotlight: Matt Maio

Each month, we recognize a member of our dedicated staff here at TJM. Our Employee Spotlight for November shines on sales representative Matt Maio!

What do you do at TJM and how long have you worked here?

Pins and challenge coin sales. I started here back in January of 2016.

What’s your favorite aspect of your job?

 Talking to new people every day

 What’s the work you’ve done that you’re most proud of?

 We made a lapel pin to celebrate the career of New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia.

 What are your hobbies/interests outside of work? 

 Motorcycles, disc golf and fishing (in that order).

 Tell us a little about your family.

 I have been married for eight years to my wonderful wife Brittany. We have an awesome 7-year-old son named Tyler.

What do you like most about living in central Florida? 

 The weather! Also, the close proximity to Orlando, Tampa and St. Augustine. Its great to be able to enjoy all of our amazing outdoor activities.

 What do you like best about working for TJM?   

 Everyone here is great to talk to, and we all get along pretty great.

 Any exciting things planned in the future?

 I’m looking forward to going to the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona at the end of January.

Anything else you’d like to tell the world about?

 The 2003 Honda CBR 954 RR has an indicated top speed of 178 mph. Also, the temperature in the city of Tampa, Florida has never officially reached 100 degrees (yet).
