What is your role at TJM and how long have you worked here?
I am a graphic artist and sales associate. I have been with TJM for a little over four years now.
What's one aspect of your job at TJM that you appreciate?
There are a few customers out there that remember me by name and talk to me like they’re talking to a good friend. Recently, we experienced Hurricane Irma and so many of our customer reached out to us to make sure that we were safe. It’s nice to be able to build relationships with people you don’t even know from all over the country and sometimes even internationally.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?
My parents, sister, brother and I absolutely love Disney World and go as often as we can. It’s like a home away from home for us. I have my AA in Art, so I love to work on fine arts and graphic designs at home. I work with a variety of media, but pencil and charcoal have been my favorite since middle school. I have also recently found another happy place at my gym. Working out has helped boost my self-esteem and gives me more energy! Other than that, I love to stay at home, watch and sing to Disney movies and snuggle my basset hound, Molly! (Ed. Note – Molly looks perfect for snuggles, see photo below.)
Any big, exciting things planned for the future?
I had a small injury a few months ago that set me back, but I am slowly getting back on my feet thanks to my friend, Mike. With his help, I’m hoping to conquer a Tough Mudder or Spartan Race in the next year or two.
Anything else you'd like to tell the world about?
Never stop dreaming.
