The Boys (and Girls) of Summer Will Be Back!

So we’ve been dealing with COVID-19 for a year now.  Funny how different things seemed, just 365 days ago. Funny how we’re still wondering when we’ll get back to a time when we can gather to play sports, eat in public, go to movies.

That time is coming, and thanks to the vaccines already being distributed, it’s coming soon. So let’s think positively and prepare to gear up for what’s going to be a good summer.

We can feel it in our bones here at TJM. Baseball is going to be back this summer, bigger, bolder and better than ever before. A year of pent-up energy is going to explode on the diamond, and we’ll see better youth leagues than we ever thought possible.

Of course, those revved-up, rarin’ to go young players are going to need trading pins. And now, right now, is the time to be thinking about what those pins should look like for your teams.

This is the point where we would usually be suggesting you order pins soon, to be prepared for the big order crunch once the season actually starts. Obviously, we’re not going to do that this year. We don’t know when, or if, the season will start this year, and it’s likely that it will be a lot smaller than in previous years, at least for a while.

But there’s nothing wrong with thinking ahead, and plotting out your custom trading pin designs. Get your teams involved, and give them something to look forward to. You can always share pin designs over Zoom or FaceTime calls. Your players will relish a chance to crank up their creativity, and you might see some spectacular designs.

Once you decide on a design, keep it handy. As soon as the games resume, send it to us, and we’ll turn that creativity into custom pins your players will trade and collect proudly.
