In November, Wayne's World of Paintball contacted TJM Promotions, asking us to create some patches for their big year-end finale event. Owned by Wayne and Jackie Dollack, Wayne's World of Paintball is a nationally-recognized paintball field located in our hometown, Ocala, Fla.
Wayne's World hosts everything from professional tournaments to family and friend days to 24-hour scenarios. These events culminate in their annual grand finale at the end of the year.
The 2013 grand finale was a 24-hour scenario called "Mech Wars." A science fiction backstory featuring two factions fighting across the galaxy made the scenario feel more real. Paintball teams and individuals from around the country split into two teams: Northside and Southside.
Big name vendors and sponsors attended the event to sell equipment and participate in the festivities. Teams arrived several days beforehand, and many camped out and socialized with other teams before the big showdown began.
Once the battle began, both teams spread out around the field, each seeking tactical advantage. From noon Dec. 7 to noon Dec. 8, the teams battled throughout the night and into the mid-day. Once the last shot was fired, scorekeepers tallied the points and Northside claimed victory with twice the points of Southside.

The patches we made for Wayne's World of Paintball featured the name and logo of the grand finale. Since they're fellow townies, some of our staff drove across town to deliver the patches in person and snap a few pictures of preparations for the big day.
We were happy to provide the patches for a local business, especially for such a large event. We look forward to the next event, and it probably wouldn't be a bad idea for us to head over there ourselves! After all, what better way to relieve some stress after a long workday than by shooting paint at each other?
TJM Promotions would like to thank Wayne's World of Paintball, and we look forward to working together in the future!
