Employee Spotlight: Tim Legge
Recognition of the people who make TJM's success possible -- our staff members
Rick Cundiff
Each month, we recognize one of the hardworking folks here at TJM who make the magic happen. This month’s Employee Spotlight shines on Artist/Sales Assistant Tim Legge!
What do you do at TJM and how long have you worked here?
I’ve been working at TJM Promos for nearly four years now as a graphic artist and sales assistant. My primary job here is designing challenge coins, as well as a multitude of other products that we offer.
What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
Getting to interact with customers and working with them from start to finish to create something that they’ll love!
What’s the work you’ve done that you’re most proud of?
I always take pride in any job where the client calls in after receiving their product, raving about how great they came out and how they look forward to working with us again. It’s a great feeling knowing you had a part in making the customer happy.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?
After work you’ll usually catch me watching baseball, playing video games and working on creating items for my Etsy shop.
Tell us a little about your family.
My family consists of my parents, sisters, and my crazy but loveable niece and nephew. We’re all a creative bunch, with my sisters running a successful boutique here in Downtown Ocala. You’ll probably see us all around town together way too often.
What do you like most about living in central Florida?
I really enjoy the nature around here, and can even experience it sometimes when it’s not 105 degrees outside! Silver Springs is beautiful, and it’s always fun to see the wildlife up close there.
What do you like best about working for TJM?
My coworkers! We have a great group of employees here that keep things interesting day in and day out.
Any exciting things planned in the future?
I’m hoping to do a road trip next year where I visit as many baseball parks as I can.
About that picture above …
My friend Melissa was fostering him while he was waiting to be adopted, so I got to hang out with him for a bit. His name is Rupac Shakur!
Anything else you’d like to tell the world about?
It’s something that’s easy to not think about, but as a heart transplant recipient, I’d have to say organ donation. I had my life saved by a donor almost twelve years ago and have met many people with similar experiences who have had their lives turned around in the best possible way by selfless organ donors.
