What do you do at TJM and how long have you worked here?
I have been with TJM for 4 ½ years as a graphic artist and sales consultant.
What's your favorite product that you've helped design?
I have worked on a lot of different products. However, coins have to be my favorite. They are fully customizable, which allows us to work with our clients closely to help guarantee a successful product.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?
I really enjoy doing anything with my family, whether it be spending time at the beach, traveling or just relaxing at home. My other love would be University of Michigan football. I was born and raised in Michigan, so from a very early age I have been wearing and supporting The Maize and Blue.
Speaking of that, we understand you made some coins that caught the attention of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh recently.
I've wanted to create some schedule coins for Michigan for a while now, and finally did it this year. This is Team 137, and Harbaugh's second year as head coach. I feel really good about our chances this year and thought it was time. I purchased them myself, and sent them to a group of Michigan fans, some that I knew and some that I didn’t (Facebook friends of friends). I decided to send a couple to Harbaugh as well. I did not know if he would receive them or not, so I didn’t really think much about it until I got the surprise letter a few weeks later. (See pictures of the coins and the letter from Coach Harbaugh below.)
How did you react to the letter?
Shock, awe, excitement plus many more reactions
Tell us a little bit about your family.
I have an amazing wife Sherri and 3 awesome daughters — Kelsey, Caitlyn and Ella. We are also fortunate enough to live very close to our parents and other close family members. Our humble abode also houses 3 awesome dogs, Maizen-Blue (boxer), Tiffany (peek-a-poo) and Charlotte (terrier).
What do you like most about living in central Florida?
Coming from Michigan, the overall lack of snow here in the Sunshine State is a great plus. Also, a great thing about living in central Florida is the close distance to both the East and West coast beaches.
Any exciting things planned in the future?
This Thanksgiving we will be traveling to Atlanta to visit and spend time with our oldest daughter, Kelsey. During the Christmas season, we will get to see and spend time with our middle daughter Caitlyn, who currently lives in Sarasota. After all of that and the holiday rush is over, my wife and I are going on a cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary with friends in February.
Anything else you'd like to tell the world about?
GO BLUE!!!
