Customer Spotlight: La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery

We’re staying local this month for our Customer Spotlight, which features Ocala’s La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery! This outstanding store is one of several fine furniture retailers in our hometown, and one whose business we appreciate.

The Furniture Gallery offers both stock and custom furnishings from La-Z-Boy and other lines, including the legendary recliners the company has built its reputation on for nearly 100 years. Just about everyone’s Dad has had one at some point in their lives. Maybe you have one now.

Not long ago, the store needed a new supplier for an important product. Management went looking for a provider of custom pens and apparel.

A company that La-Z-Boy (corporate) used previously was “outrageously expensive and of terrible quality” said marketing specialist and lead interior designer Erick Zarate. So store management went looking for alternatives.

Fortunately, they had an unexpected asset. Zarate is a former TJM Promos employee. 

“It’s a local company that is always doing something with the community,” he said.  “For years TJM has been the leading resource for custom made products, and they are a pillar in this great community. Wherever you go to an event in Ocala you will always see the TJM logo.

“From the years I spent with the company, I know they make right by the customer. They always go above and beyond to exceed every expectation the customer may have. And to this day it still holds true. 

The store bought custom pens, t-shirts and polos from TJM.

“The pens we needed for clients to take with them after purchasing. We  underwent a remodel, and we ordered shirts for our staff to wear through the time of the remodel, as the building was completely gutted and was quite hot.” 

The custom pens proved to be a hit with furniture buyers, Zarate said.

“We give you a pen to sign your paperwork,” he said. “People come in to buy custom furniture and at the time of purchasing they'll need a pen to sign documents. They love the fact that they can keep it!”

La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery’s reputation depends on quality merchandise and excellent customer service. So does ours at TJM. We do our best to live up to the exacting standards our customers demand.  

“TJM always goes above and beyond to meet the customer’s needs,” Zarate said. “Product quality, delivery times are always spot on. We’ve reordered several items already, with more to come.”

When asked how we could better serve our customers, Zarate offered one suggestion.

“By continuing to do the absolute best for the community,” he said.
