Teachers, business owners, television crews, recording artists — you name the industry, we’ve probably made some sort of promotional products for it. After sending the products to our clients, we don’t always get to see them in use, and as such, it’s always a pleasure seeing just how you’re using your new promotional products.

Andy from Apache NiFi recently ordered patches through one of our websites and posted this glowing review on Twitter:

We got in touch with Apache NiFi to learn about their company and how they plan to use their new patches, and here’s what they had to say:

Apache NiFi is an open source data flow platform that was originally developed by the United States National Security Agency and open sourced to the Apache Software Foundation in 2015. Now freely available to the public, it has established itself as an easy-to-use, secure, and reliable system everywhere from hobbyists connecting to IoT devices [“Internet of Things”, i.e. devices like Google Nest or the Amazon Echo, etc. -Ed.] to the largest enterprise commercial and public organizations. Many of the original developers travel the world speaking about the system, teaching new developers, and gathering feedback.

Apache NiFi contacted us earlier in the month, looking for patches for a conference they’d be attending in early February. It was a tight deadline, but we were able to make it work, with the patches being delivered ahead of schedule. Here’s what they had to say about how they plan to use their new patches:

These patches were originally planned to identify someone as an expert NiFi contributor, but the reaction and demand has been so impressive that some will be given away as coveted prizes during upcoming conferences.

All in all, we were happy to make everything work out for Apache NiFi. As we mentioned before, we love learning more about our customers and seeing how they put their promotional products to use.
