Canine Extreme in the (Ware)House!

A few days ago a company called Canine Extreme visited us here at TJM Promotions. Canine Extreme is a nationally-known local company that specializes in training German Shepherds (among other breeds) for many types of situations including personal protection, the military, law enforcement, or basic obedience. Dogs they have trained have gone on to work around the country as narcotics and bomb-sniffing dogs, or as K9 units for a police department. The male German Shepherd pictured above is training to become a bomb-sniffing dog for a branch of the federal government.

The trainers from Canine Extreme needed an area to train some dogs in a warehouse type of environment, and our warehouse was an ideal spot. Full of unfamiliar sights and smells and plenty of noise, it helped the dogs become accustomed to working in an area that was not their home environment. Being in our warehouse also gave the dogs an opportunity to work around people in a busy setting, which is especially useful for dogs that go to work in a crowded area such as an airport or harbor.

We were more than pleased to host the trainers and dogs from Canine Extreme, and it was a treat to watch their training, accuracy, and professionalism.
