TJM Promotions recently fulfilled an order for the “Attendance Matters” campaign of United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties.
The “Attendance Matters” campaign is an initiative begun by the two-county United Way chapter located in Washington state to promote attendance in schools. The campaign targets children and their parents to demonstrate the consequences of not attending class on a frequent basis. The initiative is based around 3 TV commercials aimed at students to help instill good attendance practices at an early age. “Attendance Matters” hopes that by showing the importance of school attendance, students will develop positive habits they will use for the rest of their lives.
United Way is a non-profit organization dedicated to “improving lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good.” United Way focuses on 3 different goals: improving education, helping people achieve financial stability, and promoting healthy lives. The organization has more than 1,200 offices located throughout the country to reach a wide variety of communities. United Way boasts partnerships with hundreds of big-name corporations around the United States.
United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties contacted us to design wristbands for them featuring the United Way logo, the “Attendance Matters” logo, and the slogan “Every Student Every Day.” The wristbands were the standard size, debossed painted style. With debossed painted, the engraved areas are filled with paint to provide a striking contrast to the colors of the wristbands.
