Follow the 2013 Little League World Series with us!

Looking forward to the 2013 Little League World Series? Follow along with us as we track the progress of the Series once it begins in mid-August! We've created an easy-to-read bracket for each side of the tournament: United States and International.

All throughout the summer, teams across the world have been competing to earn a coveted spot in the 2013 Little League World Series. To determine who to send to the Series, each region holds a regional tournament to crown a champion. That champion represents the region in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA in mid-August.

3 regions have already chosen a team to represent them: Asia-Pacific & Middle East, Japan, and Australia. Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) is representing Asia-Pacific & Middle East, Musashi Fuchu will represent Japan, and Perth Central for Australia. Japan won the Series last year and is looking for a repeat. Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) has the most Little League World Series wins overall with 18, but hasn't won since 1996. Australia has never won a Series.

2013 marks the first year that Australia has their own region. They were formerly a part of the Asia-Pacific region, but due to the growing popularity of baseball in Australia, the country now has its own berth in the Series. Other regions were re-organized as well. "Asia-Pacific" became "Asia-Pacific & Middle East", and "Europe" changed to "Europe & Africa." The reorganization allows more teams to have an opportunity to participate in the Little League World Series!
